Atlanta Business Chronicle
AirDefense Inc. on Wednesday named Tom Savini chief financial officer.
Before joining Alpharetta, Ga.-based AirDefense, Savini was vice president of finance at telecommunications infrastructure company Movaz Networks Inc. He oversaw the growth of Movaz from its inception to its sale in August 2006 to ADVA Optical Networking.
"Tom's experience providing corporate finance solutions for emerging technology companies and executive leadership qualities makes him a significant addition to our management team," said Mike Potts, president and CEO of AirDefense. "2006 was a record year for customer deployments and revenue growth and we are delighted to have Tom joining AirDefense."
AirDefense, one of the first companies to attack the wireless threat, sells software and hardware to large companies and government agencies looking to thwart hackers and careless employees from helping those hackers.
