EVS acquires GMC from Andrew
Ernie von Schledorn is adding GMC pickups and SUVs to the lineup at his Menomonee Falls dealership by acquiring the GMC line from Andrew Automotive in Glendale.
Von Schledorn said he approached Andrew president Andy Schlesinger about the deal, and they closed the transaction this week for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition gives von Schledorn a much-needed pickup truck line at his Menomonee Falls location, which carries Buick, Pontiac and Volkswagen.
Schlesinger said he agreed to sell the GMC line because he wants to focus on Chevrolet trucks at his Silver Spring Drive dealership, which also sells Pontiac, Buick, Nissan and Toyota.
"It was a good fit for both of us," Schlesinger said.
